East Windsor police arrest foster mother in child abuse case

EAST WINDSOR — Police arrested a foster mother in connection with injuries suffered by a 6-month-old in August.

Police were called to The Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford on August 5 for a baby with injuries to the front and back of its head, torso, eyes and arms. The injuries were described as serious but not life threatening.

On Sunday,  Danielle Clark, 23, of Broad Brook, was arrested for assault and risk of injury to a minor. She was held on a $150,000 bond, but the judge reduced it to $100,000 during her arraignment Monday. She will be back in court December 7.
