WINDSOR LOCKS--All is quiet on the tracks and in the skies tonight, but the travel crunch will amp up again Wednesday morning.

Before Thanksgiving weekend is over, Bradley Airport expects to see tens of thousands of travelers.

Meanwhile, nationwide Amtrak saw 772,000 passengers travel during Thanksgiving week in 2014, and it's expected to be equally as busy this year.

"It's the busiest week of the year for Amtrak," Craig Schulz, who works at the company, said. And they're expecting even more travelers this year.

At the airport, officials are warning travelers to give themselves more than the usual extra time to get through security and the airport in light of the recent Paris attacks, terror threats and the State Department travel alert.

The TSA is reminding flyers to arrive at the airport two hours before takeoff for domestic flights, and three hours for international flights. The TSA is also asking passengers to pack as much as possible in your checked bag so that security can move through carry ons quicker.

Amtrak is also on top of security, especially due to the increase threat of ISIS worldwide.

"Without a doubt, we've been doing a lot of training, we've doing a lot of awareness preparation, we've recirculated a lot of our training materials; our officers are doing a lot of refresher training in light of recent events," Schulz said.

Nationwide, about 50 million people are expected to travel this week.
