3 people shot in 2 separate incidents in Hartford Wednesday evening

HARFORD — Two men were taken to the hospital by ambulance after a shooting in Hartford on Wednesday evening. Both men were found lying on the ground near 274 Farmington Ave in front of the Kisha Market just before 6 p.m.

Both victims were taken to St. Francis hospital and listed in stable condition.  Farmington Avenue was closed between South Marshall and Laurel due to shooting but has since reopened.

As police were investigating the shooting, they learned the shooting took place just up the street at 298 Farmington Ave, in front of the Island Cuisine Restaurant.

At the same time, patrol units were called to the intersection of Martin Street and Nelson Street. Another man was shot there, and taken to the hospital in a white sedan. The victim was shot multiple times but is in stable condition.

Police said there were no cooperative witnesses on the scene.

Police are instigating both shootings.
