SOUTH WINDSOR – On Thanksgiving just after midnight, police responded to a dispute at a Quarrybrook Drive home.

Police said a resident had invited a man into his home and the man got drunk and began breaking things.

During the dispute the guest bit the resident on the lip. Responding officers arrested Joshua Francoeur, 29, of Lariaia Avenue in East Hartford, and charged him with third-degree criminal mischief, third-degree assault, disorderly conduct and failure to pay or plead.

Francoeur was uncooperative with officers, spitting on the interior of the police cruiser.

He was held on $2,000 bail.
