Five injured in Berlin crash

BERLIN — Five people were injured in a crash Thursday evening.

Police said at 10:19 p.m. two cars collided on the Chamberlain Highway just north of West Lane.

Four people were taken to Hartford Hospital and one was taken to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.

No other details about the crash were available.

Earlier in the day two people were taken to Hartford Hospital after a one car crash on Southington Road. a car when off the road and hit a telephone pole and the driver and passenger were injured. The incident happened at 9:20 a.m.
