PLAINFIELD — Police arrested a woman after they said she made illegal withdrawals  from customer accounts at the credit union where she worked.

On Tuesday, Plainfield Police Department arrested Lisa E. Kolasa, 41, Plainfield, on larceny and computer crime charges.

Police said Kolasa was stealing money from credit union members accounts, while employed as the lead teller at CorePlus Credit Union located in Plainfield. According to police, a CorePlus member complained there were unauthorized withdrawals from his account and when the credit union investigated, they determined Kolasa was responsible for skimming funds from the account. Kolasa was fired. A police investigation that followed lead to the criminal charges.

Kolasa was released on a $ 10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear at the Danielson Superior Count on December 21.
