WILLIMANTIC — A crash involving a garbage truck Wednesday morning took down wires and closed Main Street for a period of time.
The road has since reopened. The truck took down wires in the accident. Eversource and Frontier are on the scene making repairs.
The accident was on Main Street between Columbia Avenue and Mansfield Avenue near the Stop and Shop.
