MIDDLETOWN — An early morning fire destroyed a barn. Firefighters were called to Atkins Street around 5 a.m.Thursday. The road was closed in the area but has reopened.
Officials said there was no people or animals in the barn at the time of the fire.
Other towns were called in for mutual aid.
