NORWICH -- A boy with autism who prompted a search and Silver Alert in Norwich Monday has been found safe.
According to Abby Dolliver, superintendent of Norwich Public Schools, it all started when the bus Ohanlon normally takes to school was waiting for him, but then left when they didn't see him. When Ohanlon didn't show up at school, officials called his mother and police. His current school also checked in with his previous school and learned he was not there either.
"Norwich Police Department would to thank the public for their assistance and phone calls," the department wrote on Facebook.
Police released an image from surveillance video from a local business that captured him walking in the area of Montville Commons, near Home Depot.
