UNION -- A Southbridge, Mass. teen is dead after a car went into the water at the boat launch at Bigelow Hollow State Park in Union Tuesday night, trapping four people.

The other three people in the car, also all from Southbridge, Mass., were treated and released from Hartford Hospital: Justin Mcallise, 20, who was driving, Hunter Bibeau, 22, and Lisa Tirado, 20.

Bibeau returned to the park on Wednesday and spoke with FOX 61.

"I just had to see it again," Bibeau said. "I can't believe she didn't make it out."

"The doors were locked. I couldn't open up the back hatch. I was trying to," Bibeau. "I didn't have anything to break the window or even do anything."

Bibeau said the night started out fun. The four friends were "just going for a ride." They entered Bigelow Hollow State Park and turned down one of the roads, thinking it continued the whole way.

"I mean, if you were looking over there towards the white and then this was all white and fluffy. It just looked like a big parking lot," said Bibeau. "Before I knew it, he said, 'Oh sh--t.'"

The car sunk quickly, according to Bibeau.

"I'm just sorry for all the loved ones of Emily and I'm sorry for her loss. She didn't deserve that," he said.

Blouin's family created an online fundraiser for her funeral expenses. You can donate here.

Meanwhile, police haven't said if there will be charges or fines in this case. It is illegal to drive around the park after dark, other than for fishing or boating activities.
