The snow is coming, and while we don’t know exactly how much will fall in Connecticut, it’s looking like the roads are going to get pretty messy.
FOX 61 is predicting 4 to 8 inches along the shoreline, and 1 to 4 inches for the norther part of the state.
However, other areas in the eastern half of the United States, such as Washington, will see as much as 2 feet of snow. Because of the snow in Connecticut and other locations, travel to different cities is expected to be impacted this weekend:
- Metro-North says if there are delays, it will be posted on their website.
- Airlines have made arrangements to waive fees for travelers to change flights leading up to snow storm. To see delays and cancellations at Bradley International, go here.
- Amtrak passengers will also face schedule changes. Trains in the Northeast Corridor have been canceled or will operate on a modified scheduled for Friday and Saturday. For more information, go here.
- Parking bans are in effect for many towns across the state. For a full list of parking bans, as well as closed schools and businesses, click here.
