BRISTOL — Police are investigating after a 66-year-old man was injured at a meeting hall for disabled veterans Saturday.

Bristol Police officers responded to the Disabled American Veterans Hall at 191 Riverside Avenue around 7pm to address the reported attack. Once at the scene, patrollers found an elderly victim who sustained several minor injuries.

Initially, investigators discovered a small laceration under the man’s left eye. However, upon arriving to Bristol Hospital, medical staff also located two BB pellets embedded into his head.

The man’s wounds are not considered life-threatening. Police have not identified a suspect at this time. It is unknown if any arrests are pending.
