DES MOINES, Iowa–Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee has suspended his presidential campaign.

The Republican candidate tied for seventh place with three other candidates in the Iowa caucuses, far behind what he was likely hoping for.

He announced the end of his campaign on his Twitter account:

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz won the Republican caucuses with 28 percent of the vote, while the front-runner heading in to the campaign, Donald Trump, walked away in second with 24 percent of the vote. Ohio Sen. Marco Rubio had an impressive third-place finish with 23 percent of the vote, just one point behind Trump.

Ben Carson had 9 percent of the vote, Rand Paul had 5 percent and Jeb Bush came away with 3 percnet.

Huckabee, John Kasich, Carly Fiorina and Chris Christie all came away with 2 percent, while Rick Santorum placed last with just 1 percent.

This was Huckabee’s second run for president. No word if he’ll try again in four years.
