VERNON –Police have identified the couple who died in a murder-suicide Wednesday.

Police said Allison Peterson, 53, and Eric Danziger, 59 were found dead.

Officials said Danziger and Peterson were in a dating relationship and did not have any children.  They believe Danziger killed Peterson and then himself.  An autopsy is scheduled Thursday and the medical examiner will determine official cause and manner of death.

Just after 10 a.m., police received a call reporting an untimely death inside an apartment on Linden Place.  A maintenance worker found the two bodies during a service call to the apartment.

Based on the initial investigation, police believe it was a murder suicide. Neighbors said police have been at the apartment before.
