Hartford police search for armed robbery suspects

HARTFORD — Hartford police are searching for two teenagers who are accused of robbing a man at gunpoint Saturday afternoon.

The victim told police that around 3:30 p.m. he was robbed by two black teenagers in the area of 239 Capen Street.

According to the victim, one of the suspects pulled out a handgun while the other was armed with a knife. They demanded money and the victim’s phone.

The victim was punched a suffered a minor injury. The suspects told him to run otherwise he would be shot.

Police are reviewing surveillance footage from the area.

The suspects are described as two black teenagers of average height and weight.
