SPRING LAKE, Mich. -- The Internet has fallen in love with a dog in Michigan and his adorable 'brace face.'

Harborfront Hospital for Animals in Spring Lake, Michigan, shared photos of Wesley with his braces on their Facebook page and the post went viral.

The hospital wrote that orthodontia in pets is typically not for aesthetic reasons but for health concerns.

Wesley's smile looked perfect the way it was before, but he needed the braces to align his teeth so he can close his mouth completely.

The good news for Wesley is that he won’t need the braces on for too long, just a few weeks. As of Tuesday morning, the photos of Wesley have been shared more than 280,000 times.
