MIDDLETOWN -- Named after their location, not a person, NoRA Cupcake Company cupcakes are sweet treats by any name.

Located just north of Rapallo Avenue (that’s North of Rapallo Avenue, NoRA), their first store front retail location was in Middletown. Now, NoRa's has a food truck and a location in West Hartford's Blue Back Square.

With more than 100 flavors on their complete menu, you can check out which dozen are available on any given day by checking out their Facebook page. They feature cupcakes inspired by Carrie's days as a bartender, the most sought after cupcakes they call "rockstars," cap cupcakes that forgo the frosting for a simple smear, and savory cupcakes kicked up with meat, herbs, and spices.

Sean Pragano spent this Foodie Friday at NoRA to find out more about their history, help out decorating and of course, he tried a bite or two!
