HARTFORD - Senator Chris Murphy met with minority small business owners in Hartford Saturday to propose a series of initiatives for the community.
Minority business owners and groups expressed concern for their small businesses in Hartford, proposing a task force that will guarantee certain benefits for businesses.
Murphy, Hartford Mayor Luke Bronin, and several small business experts heard feedback and ideas on how to improve local minority-owned businesses.
Murphy said he will propose the initiatives heard at the meeting at the federal level to address concerns of the businesses.
