SOUTHINGTON - A prom dress drive in Southington is taking place for the 10th year in a row.

Kristen's Kloset at the Plaza Stop Mall will begin taking prom dress donations from now until June.

Students can get prom dresses and accessories for a small donation or for free by getting vouchers from school guidance counselors.

The drive honors a young eighth-grade girl named Kristen Warner who died in a car crash on Queen Street.

Last year, Kristen's Kloset gave gowns to more than 160 women from 50 towns and cities in the state.
