HARTFORD -- The capital city's St. Patrick's Day Parade is a 45-year-old tradition that celebrates Irish Culture and honors those Irish-Americans who have made Central Connecticut their home and who have made a positive impact on the community.
Dr. Eoin King, of the Hartford Gaelic Athletic Association, or HGAA, joined FOX 61 Good Day Connecticut to talk about the parade and its traditions. Over 5,000 marchers and 60,000 spectators come out, making it the largest annual parade in Hartford.
You can watch both the Hartford and New Haven St. Patrick's Day parades live on-air and online with coverage from FOX 61. Learn more here.
