WINDSOR LOCKS -- The National Airline of Ireland is making travel a little smoother. Aer Lingus will debut a direct flight from Bradley International to Dublin in September.

Once in Dublin, travelers can also make connections to more than 25 destinations across Europe. Aer Lingus is touting planes with modern amenities and reasonable rates.

Brendan Downes, owner of Hartford's Maple Cafe, says this will help a passionate community -- the same community that frequents the Irish American Home Society in Glastonbury.

Folks meet at the club after enjoying Hartford's St. Patrick's Day parade.

You can watch both the Hartford and New Haven St. Patrick's Day parades live on-air and online with coverage from FOX 61. Learn more here.
