In anticipation of the season premiere, some VIPs from “Empire” are stopping by “American Idol.”

On Thursday, March 17, at 8 p.m. “Empire” stars Jussie Smollett and Bryshere “Yazz” Gray will appear on the final season of the singing competition for the debut performance of the song, “Never Let It Die,” which can be heard in the background of the trailer for the new season.

The duet are brothers on the hit Fox show “Empire,” which will air its season premiere on March 30 at 9 p.m. on FOX 61.
