WINDSOR LOCKS--People around the state were celebrating the luck of the Irish on Thursday.

The normal hustle and bustle at Bradley International Airport was slowed down a bit to watch quite a show. A group from the Scoil Rince Luimni School of Irish Dance and from Cheshire Academy were at the airport for St. Patrick's Day to do slip jigs and high clicks, right in front of security.

"It's bringing them some St. Patrick's cheer while they're on their way to a hopefully sunny, warm destination," said Scoil Rince Luimni School owner Courtney Jay.

Meanwhile, parades were held around the state, and in Bloomfield at the Thomas Hooker Brewery a fundraiser was held for Camp Courant, but it got into the spirit of both St. Paddy's and March Madness.
