EAST HARTFORD – A man charged with injuring three officers when he hit them with his car after a drug bust, then trying to get away in January, is now facing more charges.

Kevin McNeilly, 52, of Manchester, was caught shortly after the initial incident and charged at that time with several charges including reckless driving, evading responsibility and possession of a controlled dubstance.

After a follow-up investigation of the incident, he was charged today with two counts of attempt to commit murder, three counts of assault of a public safety employee, three counts of first-degree reckless endangerment, two counts of first-degree assault, interfering with an officer, and six counts of third-degree criminal mischief.

McNeilly is now being held on an $800,000 bond and is expected to appear in court again on April 13 in Hartford.
