SHELTON — The call for information and leads continues to mount as the family of Kristjan Ndoj marks the two-year anniversary of his tragic death.

Police say Ndoj was shot twice in the head and leg on the night of March 15, 2014 outside a home on Agawam Terrace in Shelton. He died a few days later from his injuries. No one knows who fired the shots.

“It’s been very difficult. As you can imagine, you lose a 15-year-old boy to a senseless act and for the family, it’s tough for them to come to grips with something like that,” said Michael Boynton, the family’s attorney.

The State’s Attorney and Gov. Dan Malloy authorized a $50,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest.

“People fear that they may be exposing someone they know and associate with and that’s unfortunate because an injustice occurred here and that injustice has to be corrected,” said Mark Lauretti, Mayor of Shelton.

Ndoj was a sophomore at Shelton High School at the time of his death. This year, he would have been a senior.

Police are calling for anyone with information to come forward while the family says they just wants answers.

“They have no closure because the person who’s responsible for this is still out and about and they’re coping as best they can but as you can imagine, that’s pretty difficult,” said Boynton.
