DES MOINES, Iowa--The Huskies are ready to rumble!
Teammates, students, alumni, Connecticut residents--fans all over are excited to have made it to the second round of the NCAA tournament. On Saturday, the UConn men's basketball team will face the top-seeded Kansas Jayhawks. Tip off is at 7:45 p.m., so fans will have a full day of anxious anticipation before the final outcome.
The top-seeded, number one UConn women will play Robert Morris on Saturday at 11 a.m.
FOX 61's Bob Rumbold has been hanging with the Huskies in Iowa as they prep for the big showdown, but even a thousand miles away the team has some strong support in the stands.
