SOMERS — A pedestrian has died after being struck by a car driven by a 93-year-old man Wednesday morning.
The accident happened at near the intersection of Sokol Road and Main Street, Route 190, at 11;15 a.m.
Police said Bret Colucci, 52 of Waterbury, was walking on Route 190. A car traveling west failed to move over for Colucci and struck him. Colucci died from his injuries. The driver has been identified as Chester Falkowski, 93,of Enfield.
The accident is currently under investigation. Any witnesses are asked to contact Trooper Benoit at 860-896-3222 ex. 8001.
