HARTFORD — Police in Hartford are searching for the person or persons who broke into the Hartford Stage offices and vandalized them, Lt. Brian Foley said Monday.

Officers were called to the office Monday morning around 8 a.m. The general manager of the Hartford Stage said she received a call that the office was broken into.

The office was closed and locked up Friday, March 25 around 5:45 p.m. When police arrived Monday, they found one of the doors had been tampered with, tables were broken, and anti-gay derogatory words were written on the walls.

Nothing was stolen from the office.

Police plan to look at surveillance video as part of their investigation.
