SOUTHINGTON–Nearly seven years after an incident, police have arrested a man for indecent exposure.

On June 17, 2009, police say Jose Luis Rodriguez, 45, of Hartford, was at a Denny’s Restaurant in Southington sitting in a booth when he exposed himself to the waitress who was serving him and inappropriately touched himself. The waitress ran from the table, and Rodriguez ran from the restaurant and didn’t pay his bill.

Rodriguez also goes by the name Guillermo Hernandez, according to police.

On March 26, 2016, Rodriguez was arrested by Hartford Police for the outstanding Southington Police arrest warrant. He is charged with public indecency, breach of peace in the second degree and larceny in the sixth degree. He was released on a $5,000 bond and is due in court April 4.
