Around 4 a.m. on February 6, 2011, Marcus Manson, 36, of Windsor, was standing on Barbour Street in the North End of Hartford and talking to a few people in a black Toyota that pulled up next to him. While they were talking another man approached, started talking to Manson for a moment, and then shot him twice in the head. After Manson fell, the shooter stood over him and fired several more shots into him.

The suspect was wearing a ski mask, black hoodie and pants, and a silver belt.

During the incident a woman was shot in the foot but ran away in fear, and another man was grazed in the thigh. Both of those victims recovered.

There were several persons of interest, but police need more evidence to solve this cold case and bring justice for Manson's four children that he left behind.

If you have any more information about this crime, call Hartford Police.
