Tonight and Sunday will be cool by April standards but it could be a lot worse. A winter storm just missed Connecticut, leaving some light accumulating snow in parts of New Jersey and Pennsylvania Saturday. Clouds will clear out as the storm pulls away tonight allowing temperatures to drop into the 20s.

The sun will shine for the UConn Huskies parade and rally in Hartford on Sunday with temperatures in the mid-40s. Just bundle-up if you are heading into Hartford as the wind will make it feel like it's in the 30s!

There is no big warm-up in sight. At least temperatures will get closer to average heading into next week, along with some April showers on Monday and Tuesday - baby-steps towards a return to spring weather. High pressure will dominate our weather with plenty of sunshine and temperatures reaching the seasonal upper 50's to near 60 by the middle and end of next week.
