hebron fireHEBRON–A fire tore through a home on Thursday evening, throwing up massive flames and plumes of smoke.

The two-alarm blaze was at a large house on Burnt Hill Road in Hebron.

Mutual aid was called in from Manchester, Glastonbury, Coventry and other towns, and firefighters had water supply problems, so tankers were called in as well to help fight the fire.

No injuries were reported, but it’s not yet known if the homeowner was at home when the fire started.

The house sustained heavy damage, as you can see in the picture.

Firefighters have not said what caused the fire to ignite.
