The men spoke with Dominican accents according to police and demanded money, according to police. The men abducted the father of one of the men and left with him in a small Cadillac SUV according to police.

While police were interviewing the other victims, they learned the father had been dropped off on I-91 and was uninjured. He was taken to police headquarters to be interviewed.
