HARTFORD — A construction worker was injured in a fall at Dunkin’ Donuts Park baseball stadium.

The worker received minor injuries Tuesday morning when they fell through a roof hatch, said police. They got cut grabbing onto corrugated metal to prevent the fall.

The worker was taken for treatment to Hartford Hospital according to police.

The stadium will house the Hartford Yard Goats minor league baseball team. Construction is behind schedule on the park and the owners have concerns that they will not be able to open as scheduled on May 17.

The Yard Goats will play nine games at Dodd Stadium in Norwich.
