BLOOMFIELD–On Wednesday night, the Bloomfield Public Schools’ music department performed its annual district-wide concert at The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts on Capitol Avenue in Hartford.
More than 500 students participated in the musical event. This year’s theme, under the direction of music director Frank Quinn, was “Broadway.”
FOX 61 anchor and reporter Lorenzo Hall served as master of ceremonies at the event, which was attended by close to 1,000 people.
Students played instruments, sang and danced in costume to several popular song, including Lorenzo’s favorite, “The Circle of Life” from “The Lion King.”
