UNCASVILLE - The Connecticut Sun were back at the Mohegan Sun Arena to start the home season against a couple of familiar faces: Stefanie Dolson, Bria Hartley and the Washington Mystics were in town. Washington would open a quick ten-point lead 12-2 before Connecticut would settle down and take the lead 18-17 on an Alex Bentley drive late in the 1st quarter. The Sun would take a slim 37-32 into half time and it would only get closer in the second half. The game was tied 10 times and the lead changed hands ten times, as well, so overtime was needed to settle this one. In the extra frame, Washington had just a little more in the tank and came away with the 84-76 victory to get their first W of the season. The Sun get a chance to rebound from the loss Thursday as they host the Los Angeles Sparks.
