Prospect man charged with stabbing

PROSPECT – A Prospect man was arrested for stabbing another man on Saturday afternoon.

On Saturday just after 5 p.m. police went to Woodcrest Drive in Prospect for reports of a disturbance and found a man who had been stabbed.

He was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Police arrested Anthony Magnano, 21, and charged him with breach of peace, first-degree reckless endangerment and first-degree assault.

Magnano will be arraigned in Waterbury Superior Court on Friday, July 1 and is being held on a $100,000 bail.
