Woman hurt in Bristol motorcycle crash

BRISTOL – Just before 6:30 p.m. on Sunday police said they responded to Redstone Hill Road by the intersection of Prestige Lane for a serious motorcycle crash.

Police said they found a woman motorcyclist laying by the side of the road.

Police said she appeared to have serious injuries to her chest. She was taken by Bristol EMS to a Hartford area hospital.

Police said she had been traveling eastbound on Redstone Hill Road when she left the right side of the roadway. The motorcycle crashed in a wooded area and she was thrown to the ground.

At this time, she isn’t being identified until immediate family members have been contacted.
