NEW YORK — Lawyers for New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady have filed an appeal for a second hearing his four game suspension to the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

NFL Players Association attorney Theodore B. Olson appeared on Good Morning America Monday morning and said they plan to file the appeal later Monday.

Last month, a federal appeals court ruled that Brady must serve a four-game “Deflategate” suspension imposed by the NFL, overturning a lower judge and siding with the league in a battle with the players union.

The appeals ruling follows a September decision by Manhattan Judge Richard Berman that went against the league, letting Brady skip the suspension.
