HARTFORD -- Summer is the time for outdoor grilling and one favorite is ribs! George Giotsas, owner of Little Mark’s BBQ joined FOX 61 Good Day Connecticut with this mouth watering recipe.

Little Marks Killer “Rib Rub” Recipe

2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup salt
1/2 cup chili powder
1/2 cup paprika
1/2 cup black pepper
1/2 cup granulated garlic
1/2 cup oregano

Rub the meat and let it sit for about six hours before smoking it or putting it on the grill.

1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup fresh garlic
1/4 cup chili powder
2 tablespoons paprika
2 tablespoons salt
2 tablespoons black pepper
You can also add fruit juice or beer to make it stand out a bit if you like.
