HARTFORD - A 1999 murder still has not been solved - the cold case of Earl Townsend.

Townsend was taken to Saint Francis Hospital in a private vehicle where he died and there are still dozens of unanswered questions about his murder.

Police learned that the crime occurred at 270 Laurel Street.

The suspect who shot Townsend described as a short black man wearing a black hooded jacket, with a face mask or cloth over his face.

Anybody with information about the case is asked to give police a call.
