HARTFORD — The Hartford Yard Goats announced Friday more changes to their schedule, following a stoppage of construction at the incomplete Dunkin Donuts Park.

The changes are for the games set from July 4-10.

The Yard Goats will play a four game series against the Binghamton Mets, July 4-7 at NySeg Stadium in Binghamton, New York. In addition, the Yard Goats will play a three game series against the Portland Sea Dogs at NySeg Stadium in Binghamton, New York on July 8 and July 9. July 10th will now be an off day.

Yard Goats season ticket holders will be allowed to attend all of the games in Binghamton, NY with complementary tickets, courtesy of the Yard Goats. All other ticket sales will be handled by the Binghamton Mets.

New schedule:

  • July 4 vs B-Mets @ Binghamton, NY 6:05 p.m.
  • July 5 vs B-Mets @ Binghamton, NY 6:05 p.m.
  • July 6 vs B-Mets @ Binghamton, NY 6:05 p.m.
  • July 7 vs B-Mets @ Binghamton, NY 1:05 p.m.
  • July 8 vs Portland @ Binghamton, NY 6:05 p.m.
  • July 9 vs Portland @ Binghamton, NY 1:05 p.m. (Doubleheader)
  • July 10th off day

The Yard Goats had been playing intended home games at Dodd Stadium in Norwich, but the Connecticut Tigers who usually play there began their season this month.

On Monday, the Hartford Stadium Authority decided to pull its contract with DoNo LLC. and Centerplan Construction after the developers said they would need two more months to complete the stadium, which was originally supposed to be completed in May. Now, equipment is being moved out of the stadium in a process called “destabilization mode,” and construction is at a standstill.
