After a brilliant weekend full of humidity-free sunshine, we’re turning up the heat and humidity to start the week.
That said, it still is quite tolerable outside on Monday. Temperatures reach the mid to upper 80s inland, and upper 70s at the shore. Dew points creep upward ever-so-slowly, and nowhere near intolerable levels, late in the day. Clouds thicken up late Monday as a front approaches, bringing showers Tuesday morning. Right now, there may be some bad news for gardeners: that may be it for the rain for the week.
There will a storm off to our south that we will be watching for Thursday. Some models bring the storm close enough to give us some much-needed rain but other models keep the storm far away with little or no effect.
