East Hartford homicide victim identified as Bloomfield man

EAST HARTFORD — Police identified the man was killed Friday in a shooting that also critically injured a pregnant woman.

Officers responded to the scene on Plain Drive just after 4 a.m. Friday and found two victims shot inside the residence at 264 Plain Drive.

Trevino Archer, 21, of Bloomfield, was found dead at the scene.

A 23-year-old pregnant woman was taken to Hartford Hospital where she is in critical condition.

Police said two other people, another woman and a child, were also in the home but unharmed.

There have been no announcements of an arrest.

It was the city’s fourth homicide of the year.
