NORWALK — The death of a woman found in her Norwalk apartment last week has been ruled a homicide.

Police found the body of 52-year-old Marian Alexander on Friday after arriving at her residence on a medical assistance call.

Her body underwent an autopsy Saturday at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Farmington.

Police say Alexander died on Friday. Authorities haven’t identified her cause of death, but say she wasn’t shot or stabbed.

It’s not clear if police have identified a suspect.
