HAMDEN — A woman is facing several charges after police said she attacked another woman Friday, stabbed her, and then hit her twice with a car.

Jenisse Pierre-Louis is charged with assault in the first degree and risk of injury to a minor after the attack in a church parking lot on Whitney Avenue shortly after noon.

According to police, the victim left the workplace of Pierre-Louis’s ex-boyfriend and Pierre-Louis followed her. Then, the victim stopped to confront her. The two women got out of their cars, and police said, Pierre-Louis stabbed the woman in the shoulder and arm multiple times. Then, she twice struck the victim with her car, carrying her child, according to police.

Police said Pierre-Louis left the scene and was found and arrested at her home in New Haven. She was released on $25,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court June 30.
