HADDAM State Police said a bicyclist was killed in Haddam on Saturday afternoon.

Troopers are currently attempting to identify the victim of the crash.

Police said that just before 3 p.m., a man on a bike went through a stop sign at the bottom of Jail Hill Road and crossed into Saybrook Road. The bike struck the rear passenger side of a 2004 Lincoln Aviator driven by Amy Feulner, 38, of East Haddam.

LifeStar responded for transport the man to the hospital with sustained serious injuries. The bicyclist was later pronounced dead.

Police said the victim wasn’t carrying identification at the time of the accident. He is described as a 50-60 year old white man with short gray hair, approximately 5’10” tall and weighing 250 lbs. He was wearing a yellow t-shirt, black shorts, and yellow sneakers.

Anyone who may know the identity, or thinks they may know the identity, of the bicyclist is asked to contact State Police Troop F at 860-399-2100 with any information.
