Crews battle Winchester fire

WINCHESTER – A single-family home is on fire in Winchester Sunday morning.

The fire broke out at 417 West Wakefield Boulevard in Winchester just after 10:30 a.m.

Multiple units from the area responding, including firefighting units responding from Winsted, Winchester, Norfolk, New Hartford, West Hill, Colebrook, Pleasant Hill.

There were no reports of injuries.

Tanker trucks have been sent to scene to help with water supply.

The fire spread from main house to garage and the Fire marshal has been called to scene.

Nearby roads are closed.
