COLCHESTER – Police are investigating car thefts in the Colchester area over the last two weeks.
Police said these car thefts happened overnight and that the cars were stolen from driveways.
Police said most of the cars were unlocked with the keys left in them.
Police said that cars have also been stolen from surrounding towns and in most cases these cars been gone through and items taken.
Police remind residents to lock their cars at night and to not leave wallets, purses or other valuables inside your vehicles.
