HARTFORD - Another Saturday night and another Greater Hartford Pro-Am double-header and the first game had a UConn stand-off as Jalen Adams led the Red Squad against Rodney Purvis and Pauly Chute Slamm.
Purvis dropped a game high 50 points but it wasn’t enough to over take his Huskie teammate who added 43 and picked up the win 139-118.
In game two of the night Simoniz Top Dogs took on Attorney Ron Johnson Hoop Wave. The game was close for the first half but in the second Top Dogs would build a double-digit lead. Late in the fourth quarter Hoop Wave would close the gap until Top Dogs would seal the deal with defense to win 124-119.
